An attractive ladies' slide chain styled off traditional vintage chains, offered in a variety of materials, link types, styles, and finishing options.  All feature high quality materials we're proud to carry due to their overall appearance and durability.  Silicone in each hole of all the slides enables the precision placement of the slide along the chain.

We are happy to offer this item in a multitude of configurations, all selectable from the dropdown choices above; your final price will update when you select your desired options.  All of our "sweater" photos above are shown using the 'opaque black' style slide finish.  If adding a connector accent to the chain, the photos are shown with the 'amethyst purple' finish.

With all the possible options we offer to finish our side chains, it was impossible to photograph every possible combination!  However, we are more than happy to send you a photo before purchase of your desired options put together so you can see how your final product will look.  We will need the specific items you'd like to see together.  Simply send us an email with the finishing options for each of the drop down items above that you would like to see together and within 1-3 business days, we'll get back to you with a photo of your specific combination.

Chain materials (all feature a thin sealant to prevent tarnishing):
  • Sterling silver plate

    • High grade .925 solid silver plating, very close to a gold filled quality

  • 24k yellow gold plate

    • 24k solid gold plating, very close to a gold filled quality

Chain link types:
  • Traditional-style links

    • Feature a flat, interconnecting style with a slight bevel to each link.  Each link measures approx. 1.75mm

  • Fancy-style links

    • Feature a mixed style of flat, interconnecting round links with a slight bevel and long rectangular links also with a slight bevel, overall with a very sleek, slim profile.  Each link measures approx. 1.5mm

Slide styles:
  • Small round

    • Smooth polish round slide with a single raised bezel in the center which will support the faceted Swarovski crystal slide accent of your color choice, silicone in each hole enables the precision placement of the slide along the chain.  Measures approx. 15mm in diameter.

  • Square

    • Smooth polish square slide with a single raised round bezel in the center which will support the faceted Swarovski crystal slide accent of your color choice, silicone in each hole enables the precision placement of the slide along the chain.  Measures approx. 15x15mm.

Connector styles:
  • Large crystal

    • Connector with a single large center setting to support a faceted Swarovski crystal of your color choice, small smooth polish bezel around the setting with 2 small connector loops, measures approx. 18mm wide x 22mm in length.

The length we list for this item in the Full Description section will be for the overall worn length. This means that if you lay the chain straight and flat, the length from the end of the swivel finding to where the chain curves back on itself is the length we are indicating. For example, if it is listed as 25" long, there is approx. 1" of the swivel finding and connection hardware (ie. where you would attach your watch, locket, etc), and 48" of chain length. To create the 25" overall length, the 48" of chain length is "folded in half" and then finished with the 1" finding length to close the chain into a necklace.

Our example photos show our items against a backdrop created from a women's medium-sized sweater with the chain displayed in what we call a "double-wrapped" style. Depending on the style in which you are looking to wear your chain, we offer that for someone with a slender build or short to average height, you can expect the shown item to hang off your person similar to the photo. If you are petite, have a larger build, or are taller than average, please note the chain will hang differently off your person than shown.

As a rule of thumb on an average-build woman, if you want to wear the chain long and have the swivel reach your waistline, we recommend chains 24" or shorter for heights under 5'4", 22" to 26" for heights 5'4" to 5'8" and 24" or longer for heights over 5'8".
If you are looking to wear the chain double-wrapped, we suggest a chain between 24" and 28" in overall length for the swivel to rest above your bustline, and a chain between 26" and 30" in overall length for the swivel to rest at your bustline. Adding one of our optional connectors to your chain design will add approx. 1" to the final overall length.

We offer a 30-day return period beginning the day you receive your items for all PM Time Service merchandise. To receive a full refund, the item must be return in "as shipped" condition, with no new personalized engravings or end-user adaptions. Items damaged in transit will be eligible for the full refund pending the application of the insurance claim on the damaged watch or item. Holiday & Vacation Dates - Unless otherwise noted on our holiday page, you can expect an order placed to be processed and shipped out within 2-3 business days, often much sooner. If you need an item quickly, please do double check our holiday page to make sure we will be in the office!
