Avalon 7J Monarch grade E0N ladies' pendant watch, this has a nurse's watch configuration so when worn the 12 o'clock position is a the bottom of the watch allowing for the quick reading of the time when the wearer holds the watch up to view, silver-toned metal dial with a vertical brushed finish, raised gold Arabic numbers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some small spots of discoloration and some fading to the black outer ring in places, slender gold steel baton-style hands, impressive art deco round pendant white base metal (WBM) case with cutout spaces between the multiple rings of the case, entire surface is set with multi-sized clear cut rhinestones with a larger opening at 3 o'clock to allow access to the crown, slightly domed plastic crystal.
Matching bar-style lapel pin with an articulated drop that connects the pin to the watch is also set with rhinestones, back side of the pin has a traditional WBM pin stick to connect the pin to your person which is hinged at one end and has a half-arc guide with a safety latch at the opposite end, case and pin and showing light even wear however there are a few stones on each that are showing a little discoloration from age but no missing stones or notable damage, set measures approx. 31mm wide x 60mm tall x 9mm thick (crystal included). A very eye catching pin & watch set from the 1960s in excellent overall condition!
