Timex 0J grade 388 ladies' pendant watch, this has a nurse's watch configuration so when worn the 12 o'clock position is a the bottom of the watch allowing for the quick reading of the time when the wearer holds the watch up to view, mint champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish and printed black Roman numerals, slender gold steel baton style hands with pointed tips, lovely yellow base metal (YBM) round pendant case with a round aperture over the dial supporting a fancy "cut glass" accent plastic crystal, the case tapers gently away from the aperture and is finished with an eye-catching twisting leaf & sunburst engraving pattern, slightly recessed crown at the bottom of the case and a flared YBM bail at the top connects the watch to the paired necklace, case is showing normal wear with the engraving still fairly crisp however with some notable color fading as you get to the edge of the case, measures approx. 35mm in diameter x 42mm tall x 9mm thick (crystal included).
This watch is paired with an 17.5" YBM oval link necklace with a small spring ring clasp, necklace has a wearable length of approx. 445mm, links measure approx. 2x3mm. A handsome vintage watch & necklace set from the 1970s in very good overall condition!
