Waltham 12S 17J grade No. 225 pocket watch #21683601, attractive nickel split plate movement with raised jewel settings, a gold center wheel and an elaborate concentric circle damaskeen pattern, mint single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with fancy bold Arabic numbers, black minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, blue steel moon style hands, handsome yellow gold filled (YGF) hinge back (HB) smooth polish case with stepped bezels that meet with the frame in such a way as to give the case a pseudo-barrel style look, large fancy monogram on the back, possibly "MHD", sculpted pendant and a fancy square bow, case is showing light normal wear with a few short scratches and nicks on the frame and back bezel as well as a bit of brass starting to show on the interior of the bow, measures approx. 43mm in diameter x 57mm in length x 12mm thick (crystal included). The color on this case is within the yellow range however it is a very cool yellow and quite close to a green gold. A high quality mechanical movement Waltham dress watch from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
