Helbros 17J wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with a fancy plate layout and bold red ruby jewels, off-white metal Montgomery style dial with black boxcar style Arabic numbers and black & red Arabic minute markers has a few small specs of discoloration but no heavy scratches or damage, black steel wedge style hands and a red sweep second hand, heavy white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped water-resistant smooth polish case with a narrow bezel supporting a domed plastic crystal and classic tapered extended lugs, case is showing moderate to heavy wear with notable areas of discoloration down to the base metal on the frame & back, while the top of the watch is in better condition with only a few short scratches on the bezel near 12 o'clock, when worn the heavy wear is mostly against the skin, measures approx. 33mm wide x 39mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), Caravelle heavily textured black leather strap band. This watch also comes with a bright blue leatherette Helbros box with a white satin and blue velvet interior with a wrist watch form. A high quality vintage Helbros with a desirable dial finish from the mid-1900s, running strong and perfect for everyday use, in good overall condition!
