This watch is being sold AS-IS due to the non-running condition it is currently in. While the watch does want to take off running when wound, the self-winding arbor is damaged, possibly with a broken axle, and the arbor now drags on the plate when manually adjusted. Additionally, there is a worn or broken detent, so the stem will pull free from the case when attempting to put the watch into the time-adjust or quickset positions. We feel it is likely that a watchmaker could put this watch back into functioning order however we are unable to source the parts at this time. This watch would make either a good project to fix up, due to the attractive finishing options that are in decent condition, or may itself make a good spare parts watch. An impressive Omega from the late 1960s in AS-IS condition.
