Description:

1878 Morgan Dollar $1.00 US Coin, circulated, this is possibly the "7/8TF WEAK" variation as it does appear there are small nubs "behind" the seven tail feathers on the eagle side of the coin, however with all the wear we are not certain and it bears further evaluation, 38.1mm US one dollar silver coin with a profile of Lady Liberty facing left with "E. Pluribus Unum" interspaced with stars around the outer edge, the reverse depicts a majestic eagle, wings unfolded, clutching a sapling of mountain pine and arrows, reeded coin edge, 17.2dwt (26.73 grams), this coin is showing some very light patina, heavy smoothing and light scratches consistent with circulation, we are selling this coin in "Average" condition but it has not been professionally graded and confirmed, comes with a generic white cardboard and plastic sleeve.
