Hamilton 17J grade 694A automatic (self-winding) wrist watch with date, case #P562609, mint champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed sunburst finish, raised silver faceted silver & black enamel markers and a silver border around the date aperture at 3 o'clock, date display has black Arabic numbers on a white background, heavy silver steel baton-style hands with black enamel inlay and a silver sweep second hand, elegant stainless steel (SS) round water-resistant case with a narrow bezel supporting the slightly domed plastic crystal, tapered extended lugs and a slightly recessed Hamilton-marked crown, the movement on this watch lifts from the case once the crystal is removed which creates a water resistant design, case is showing light even wear with a few small scuffs & scratches, measures approx. 34mm in diameter x 41mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included).

Distinctive SS band with articulated but solid panels near each lug, each finished with a small nugget engraving, center of the band in the back has a section of expansion links with a smooth polish bar-style cap to each, band is showing some small spots of wear on the expansion section but has no heavy scratching or damage. This watch also comes with a Hamilton cream-colored Lucite (plastic) box with gold trim and an elaborate gold finished circular design on the top, cream satin & red velvet interior. A simple, high quality vintage Hamilton from the 1960s in excellent+ overall condition!
