Wittnauer 15J wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, lovely champagne-toned metal dial with a brush-stroke pattern engraving across the entire surface under the raised silver markers and black marked seconds register, dial has a few small specks of discoloration however no scratches or notable damage, fancy steel baton-style hands with pointed tips, classic white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) round thin model water-resistant case with a narrow tapered bezel supporting the slightly domed thick acrylic crystal, Wittnauer "W" marked crown and faceted, tapered extended lugs, this model opens by removing the crystal and the design allows for a very water resistant result, case is showing light even wear overall with no notable scratches or discoloration however there is a small spot on the crystal over the 7 o'clock area that does have a little more scuffing that the rest of the crystal, we can replace the current original crystal with a new plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 32mm in diameter x 39mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), SS expansion band with a mixed polished and brushed finish and large expansion segments has a few small scuffs but is in very good condition otherwise. A handsome vintage manual-wind Wittnauer from the 1950s for dress or daily use in excellent+ overall condition!
