Benrus 17J grade FE 2D5 automatic (self-winding) wrist watch, champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised gold fancy Arabic numbers & markers and black quadrant lines has some notable patina & spots of discoloration, gold steel wedge-style hands with luminous insets and a gold sweep second hand, the luminous material on the hour hand is damaged and both of the inserts are only faintly emitting light, thin model Benrus #3021 yellow gold plated (YGP) & stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped water-resistant case with a smooth polish finish, stepped-down heavy extended lugs and a slightly domed plastic crystal, the movement on this watch lifts from the case once the crystal is removed which creates a water-resistant design, case is showing normal wear with a number of short but deep scratches on the upper-right of the watch along with some thin lines of wear starting on the edge of the lugs, additionally the crown is a replacement, it is seated firmly and works correctly however is marked "Bulova", measures approx. 35mm wide x 43mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), new deeply textured black leather strap band. A high quality, attractive vintage watch from the 1960s in very good overall condition!
