Gruen 17J grade 248 ladies' wrist watch, case #252031 model 560A, gold flashed split plate nickel vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels, mint silver-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish and unusual raised silver square & rectangle markers set into a grid placement on the dial, slender silver steel baton-style hands with pointed tips, heavy smooth polish white gold filled (WGF) rectangular case with rounded corners has a very narrow bezel supporting a flat-topped glass crystal in the oval dial aperture, Gruen-marked crown and an attached WGF band, case is showing very light even wear with a little wear near the crown from use, measures approx. 15mm wide x 18mm in length x 7mm thick (crystal included), attached WGF bracelet-style band has a continuous mesh backing on both band segments that is finished with a slightly raised texturing that is reminiscent of small silver nuggets, Gruen-marked clasp is fully adjustable and allows the watch to be worn between a length of approx. 135mm & 185mm. A very high grade, neo-modern style mechanical movement triple signed watch from the 1970s in excellent+ overall condition!
