Timex 1J with date ladies' wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, mint gold-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised gold markers with black enamel inlay and a black outlined date aperture at 3 o'clock, display has black numbers on a white background, heavy gold steel baton-style skeletonized hands with black enamel finish on the outer half and a gold sweep second hand, heavy cushion-shaped yellow base metal (YBM) & stainless steel (SS) smooth polish case with a tapered bezel supporting the slightly domed glass crystal, severely tapered frame turned into the short extended lugs which makes for a pseudo-hidden look, frame also has a curve along the back that allows for a more comfortable fit when worn, case is showing light even wear with a few small scratches near the lugs, a small line of discoloration starting on the case edge near the crown and a few spots of discoloration on the interior bezel near the dial, measures approx. 27mm wide x 30mm lug to lug x 12mm thick (crystal included), YBM & SS expansion band with wide rectangular segments finished with a bark-like engraved design, band is showing only very light wear. A quintessential 1970's-era watch in excellent+ overall condition!
