Fairfax 17J ladies' wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with a brushed finish, champagne-toned metal dial with a matte finish and raised silver Arabic numbers is marked "Waltham", dial has a few small scuffs near the edge and a little patina on a few numbers, faceted silver steel wedge-style hands, elegant white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) oval smooth polish case with a scalloped bezel supporting a domed plastic crystal, raised center chevron-style lugs and a white gold filled (WGF) "W" marked crown, case is showing normal light wear with a few small scuffs on the crystal, the dial and crown are replacements to the watch, measures approx. 12mm wide x 27mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), new red nylon cord band with a twisted design, WBM ring lug connectors, cord ends and a round sliding bracelet toggle engraved with a tree of life design, this is a fully adjustable length band with a maximum wearable length of approx. 240mm. A handsome vintage mechanical movement wrist watch from the mid-1900s in excellent overall condition!
