Hampden 6S 15J lever set (LS) grade 213 ladies' pocket watch #1817523, handsome nickel 3/4 plate movement with screw-down jewel settings, a fancy plate layout and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with a black imitation double sunk (DS) line, black Arabic numbers, red 5 minute Arabic markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some spots of discoloration near the edge however no hairlines, fancy blue steel open morning glory style hands.
Lovely multi-colored gold filled hunting case (HC) with a yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish base with raised designs accented with engraving of birds in flight and flowers in green & rose gold (filled) on both sides, one side also has a raised eight-pointed rose gold filled (RGF) star set with a small faceted ruby while the reverse has a raised RGF monogram shield engraved with a fancy "L", glass crystal and a heavy bow.
Case is showing normal even wear with a small dent on the frame, a few small spots of brass starting on the pendant & frame, some wear to the color on some of the raised elements and a bit of discoloration on the interior covers, additionally the lift spring is working and the front cover latches securely however there is not a strong spring and the cover does not "pop" open as expected, measures approx. 41mm in diameter x 57mm in length x 12mm thick. A very heavy & attractive vintage watch in a distinctive multi-colored case from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
