Ellery pocket watch #2045176, handsome gilt split plate movement with a brushed finish and an off-set balance bridge, porcelain enamel dial with bold Roman numerals has a cluster of faint hairlines at the edge of the dial at 3 o'clock, blue steel moon style hands, heavy smooth polish cup-style swing-out coin silver case with a raised lip on both the back & the bezel edge, a side hinge, a large heavy bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with a few spots of discoloration & patina, measures approx. 42mm in diameter x 60mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A heavy & attractive Waltham silver dress watch from the 1880s in excellent overall condition!
