Elegant white base metal (WBM) pencil pocket watch chain fob, slender tube of WBM has been engraved with chevron and vertical line designs along the entire length and is finished with a smooth polish taper towards the pencil opening, smooth polish sphere top finished with a smaller sphere-design connector loop and a ring to attach to a watch chain, sphere top turns clockwise to extend the pencil lead and counterclockwise to retract it, marked just under the sphere top is "Made in Japan", fob is showing only light even wear overall with very little smoothing to the engraving and a slight discoloration from use on sphere detail, measures approx. 6mm in diameter at the largest sphere detail x 83mm in length. A handsome vintage watch chain fob from the mid-1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
