13" mixed 14k & 18k yellow gold fancy link Albert-style pocket watch chain with a fancy heavy t-bar finding, elaborate heavy-weight mixed link chain has 14k (tested) wide band-shaped rectangular links with deep chevron engraved designs down the center of each and dual loop connectors at each end, these large links are alternated with 18k (tested) open knotwork style links that are a slightly different shade of yellow gold giving the chain an pseudo 2-tone effect, this mixture of links creates the entire length of the primary chain arm, flat profile 3-loop cloverleaf center 14k (marked & tested) connector with raised center and side ball details connects the primary length to short lengths of study oval link chain for the fob-drop and finding arms, the fob-drop arm is finished with a 14k (marked & tested) small spring ring that will facilitate the easy addition of a decorative fob if desired, finding arm is finished with an elaborate long 14k (marked & tested) t-bar that has a smooth polish band with rounded ends and spiral engraved raised details down the center of each side, primary length is finished with a replacement 10k (marked & tested) small-sized classic swivel.

We believe this chain to have been re-purposed from two separate vintage chains due to the multiple karats found on the components along with the various styles found across the chain that we believe are from various eras from the late 1800s through the 1940s. Chain links and findings are all showing normal even wear overall with a few more light nicks, scratches and tool marks on the 18k links than on the other components, measures approx. 335mm in length, 14k links measure approx. 5.5x25mm, 18k links measure approx. 5.5x11mm, weighs approx. 23.8dwt. An attractive and interesting vintage solid gold pocket watch chain, repurposed and ready for another lifetime of use in excellent overall condition!
