12.5" distinctive white base metal (WBM) multi-strand chatelaine-themed Albert style pocket watch extra heavy weight chain with mother of pearl and garnet accents, 3 strands of heavy smooth polish WBM chains, 1 of small interlocking oval bands, 1 of medium-sized open oval links and 1 mixed link chain with open round and oval links on either side of a fancy large rectangular center link, are each finished on one end with a heavy engraved 6-sided finial and attach on the other end to the elaborate center connector piece, center connector is created from heavy WBM filigree designs surrounding a center oval focal set with a large, low grade faceted garnet and 2 round side focals each set with disks of mother of pearl, the drop-arm is created with a multi-strand chatelaine-themed chain with 2 bottle-shaped large links on each side and a center snake-chain with a smooth polish round slide, trapezoidal finials on each end with the lower finial, heavy WBM swivel marked O.M.D., oversized WBM spring ring with chain guards and a swivel connector, chain links and findings are showing overall moderate wear, with some small areas of yellowing where the findings have seen wear, the center focal design is in excellent overall condition but one of the 2 side mother of pearl panels looks to have lost a small stabilizing piece and is loose within the ring. An impressive and eye-catching vintage chain in very good condition!
