Hampden 18S 17J lever set (LS) hunting case movement (HCM) pocket watch #1679420, attractive nickel full plate movement with screw-down jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, blue steel moon style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish white base metal (WBM) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with coin edge engraving on the back bezel, a long sculpted pendant and a large heavy bow, case is showing normal wear with a some small spots of discoloration across the back, bezels & frame, some smoothing to the engraving and a bit of wear on the top of bow, likely from a chain connection, measures approx. 56mm in diameter x 82mm in length x 22mm thick (crystal included). An impressive, high quality Hampden from the early 1900s in excellent overall condition!
