New York Standard 18S 7J grade 61 pocket watch #3528238, distinctive nickel split plate movement with an unusual plate layout and a bar & circle style damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, a black-marked outer minute register and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, blue steel spade style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish white base metal (WBM) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with an elaborate steam engine with cars moving over a bridge engraving on the back, coin edge engraving around the plastic crystal, a sculpted pendant and a heavy bow, case is showing normal even wear with a bit of smoothing to the engraving on the back, a few small spots of discoloration, a small nick on the back cover and a bit of discoloration on the interior of the bow, likely from use with a watch chain, measures approx. 59mm in diameter x 84mm in length x 20mm thick (crystal included). A very attractive N.Y. Standard watch from the early 1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
