Waltham 18S 11J key wind Wm. Ellery pocket watch #630974, gilt full plate movement with a brushed finish, a screw-down winding post foot and an elaborately engraved balance bridge, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals, black minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a small flake near the seconds hand (4th wheel) post but no hairlines, fancy blue steel spade & whip style hands, re-cased into a heavy coin silver hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case with an antimagnetic white base metal (WBM) dust cover, large fancy blank monogram shield with delicate floral engraving, offset hinges, a sculpted pendant with an oversized heavy bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing moderate wear with some discoloration across the back cover, possibly a patina that could be buffed off, along with a few small nicks & small depressions on the frame & dust cover, measures approx. 57mm in diameter x 84mm in length x 20mm thick (crystal included). A high quality silver cased Waltham from the 1870s in excellent overall condition!
