Hamilton 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 992 pocket watch #1323787, handsome nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and a bar-style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold fancy Arabic numbers, red Arabic 5 minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a faint hairline, a small flake at the edge of the dial at 6 o'clock and some discoloration around the edge, blue steel spade style hands, re-cased into a stainless steel (SS) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with a brushed finish on the back, deep coin edge-like engraving on the bezels, brushed finish on the frame, a short pendant with a recessed crown, a heavy fancy bow and a glass crystal, case does not have additional case screw marks and this watch is likely the only one to seat in it, case is showing only very light wear with a few very light scuffs on the back, measures approx. 50mm in diameter x 63mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). A great example of a Hamilton railroad grade watch from the early 1900s in a distinctive case in excellent+ overall condition!
