Hamilton 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 5p grade 992 pocket watch #1293247, attractive nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and a bar style damaskeen pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel dial with bold boxcar style numbers, a black outer minute marker register and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, handsome white base metal (WBM) chrome screw back & bezel (SB&B) fully engraved case with crisp vertical line engraving around an elaborate blank monogram shield on the lower part of the cover, deeply engraved laurel & geometric designs on the bezels, deep chevron engraving on the frame, short heavy pendant supporting a partially recessed crown, a fancy laurel-engraved heavy bow and a thick glass crystal, case is a re-case to the watch but may have only had this movement as there are no additional screw marks, case is showing very light even wear with a few small scuffs and scratches to the back cover & bow, measures approx. 49mm in diameter x 61mm in length x 14mm thick (crystal included). A high quality Hamilton railroad grade watch from the early 1900s in excellent+ overall condition!
