Hamilton 16S 23J lever set (LS) adj. 6p grade 950B pocket watch #S22463, impressive nickel bridge movement with raised gold jewel settings (GJS) and a bar-style damascene pattern, white hard enamel double sunk (DS) Montgomery dial with bold fancy black Arabic numbers, red & black Arabic minute markers, a black-marked subsidiary seconds register and marked "Hamilton Railway Special", dial has a number of faint scuffs and some light patina at the edge but no crazing or cracks, bold black steel spade & whip style hands.
Heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) Hamilton model A screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with multi-stepped bezels with raised ball details, heavy stepped shoulders, short pendant supporting the recessed crown, fancy heavy bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with thin lines of brass starting to show on the bezels, frame, shoulders & bow, additionally the crystal does have a small flake near the edge, we can replace it with a new plastic crystal at no charge on request, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 64mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A high grade triple signed Hamilton railroad grade watch from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
