Waltham 16S 7J key wind Wm. Ellery pocket watch #210513, handsome gilt full plate movement with an engraved balance bridge and a brushed finish, porcelain enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, a black-marked outer minute register and a black-marked seconds register has a few small spots of discoloration but no hairlines, blue steel spade style hands, re-cased into a heavy white base metal (WBM) smooth polish hunting case (HC) with a large fancy blank monogram shield, offset hinges, reeded engraving on the frame, a large heavy bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with a little smoothing to the engraving on the frame and a number of spots of discoloration on both covers, some notable; measures approx. 54mm in diameter x 78mm in length x 20mm thick. A heavy & impressive Waltham from the post-Civil War 1860s in very good overall condition!
