Elgin 16S 19J lever set (LS) adj. 5p B.W. Raymond grade 455 pocket watch #22243445, beautiful nickel split plate movement with screw-down gold jewel settings (GJS), a gold center wheel and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, single sunk (SS) porcelain enamel Montgomery dial with boxcar style numbers, red & black 1-60 Arabic minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register has a few faint hairlines and a small expert repair near the center post, bold black steel spade & whip style hands, re-cased into a heavy smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with narrow lines of coin edge engraving on the frame near the bezel edges, a short heavy pendant, a heavy fancy triangular bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with some small scuffs and a couple of tiny spots of brass starting on the bow, additionally the crystal is in good shape but a little cloudy, we can replace it with a new plastic crystal at no charge on request, measures approx. 49mm in diameter x 65mm in length x 13mm thick (crystal included). A very attractive, railroad grade Elgin from the 1920s in excellent overall condition!
