Waltham 12S 17J grade No. 1225 (Colonial B) pocket watch #23285451, attractive nickel bridge plate movement with raised jewel settings and a fancy concentric circle damascene pattern, silver metal dial with a brushed finish, fancy black open Gothic style numbers and a black marked subsidiary seconds register has a black urn design on the upper half, dial does have some small specks of discoloration, purple steel moon-style hands, elaborate white base metal (WBM) hinge back (HB) case with an unusual fish-scale pattern engraving across the back cover, deeply engraved diamond and bar designs on the bezels, floral designs along the frame, geometric and floral designs along the pendant and fancy bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal light wear overall with some light scuffing across the back and some small spots of brass on the interior of the bow, measures approx. 44mm in diameter x 53mm in length x 9mm thick (crystal included). A very attractive vintage Waltham dress watch from the 1920s in excellent+ overall condition!
