Delaware Watch Co. (Swiss) 47mm 21J lever set (LS) adj. 6p grade AYL pocket watch, case #8291 1568, handsome nickel bridge ebauche movement with large jewel settings around the bold red ruby jewels and a bar-style damascene pattern, off-white metal single sunk (SS) dial with a glossy finish, bold black boxcar style numbers. black minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, dial has quite a bit of the white chipping off the dial at the edges however most is hidden under the bezel, additionally there are a few small spots of discoloration, black steel wedge-style hands, heavy white base metal (WBM) chrome screw back & bezel (SB&B) Delaware case with a smooth polish finish has wide-line engraving on the bezels, an engraving of a diesel locomotive on the back cover, a stepped frame, a short pendant with a recessed crown and a heavy fancy bow, case is showing normal light to moderate wear with the back cover and bow having quite a bit of matting from wear and some notable smoothing to the locomotive engraving, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 62mm in length x 12mm thick (crystal included). Had this been an American made & timed watch it would have qualified as a railroad grade. A high quality triple signed watch from the 1960s in very good overall condition that is running great, perfect to carry everyday!
