Elgin 12S 7J grade 303 pocket watch #29615851, handsome nickel split plate movement with a silver-flashed finish and an elaborate concentric circle damascene pattern, fancy silver-toned metal dial with a dual matte & polished finish that creates a 2-tone effect, matte outer ring supports the fancy black Arabic style numbers and a black minute marker ring, inner polished section has a varied-width vertical line engraving pattern, black-marked subsidiary seconds register, dial has some spots of discoloration and a bit of patina around the edge, blue steel double cross-bar diamond style hands, lovely white gold filled (WGF) screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with an art-deco style geometric engraved pattern on the back around a blank diamond-shaped monogram shield, deep floral engraving on the bezels, frame, pendant and fancy bow and a glass crystal, case is showing normal wear with some moderate to heavy smoothing to the back cover engraving and a bit of brass starting to show on the back cover, pendant & bow, measures approx. 45mm in diameter x 58mm in length x 11mm thick (crystal included). A lovely vintage dress watch from the 1920s in excellent overall condition!
