Waltham 14S 13J lever set (LS) adj. grade No. 14 pocket watch #4070910, impressive split plate nickel movement with screw-down jewel settings, a Fogg Tadpole-style regulator, brass half-crescent plate over the pallet fork and a distinctive reverse damascene pattern with the majority of the plates being matte finish and the bold geometric designs being bright smooth polish, marked "American Waltham Watch Co.", porcelain enamel dial with roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds register is also marked "American Waltham W Co.", dial does have some short faint hairlines, blue steel spade-style hands.

Heavy 14k gold fully engraved Waltham hunting case (HC) with vermicelli-style engraving on the edge and frame surrounding the primary design of engine turning behind eye-catching shooting star designs radiating from the center, one side has a large blank monogram shield in the center in the shape of a stylized sun while the reverse side has the same sun center accent but with a detailed engraving of a castle on a lake with a sailboat, large heavy bow and glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear overall with an expected amount of light smoothing on the engraving along with a few scratches of note on the interior front cover and on the frame from opening the case, and while it does appear this case may be original to the watch with no additional screw marks or re-case indicators, the interior bezel holding the crystal is a yellow gold filled (YGF) replacement, measures approx. 48mm in diameter x 71mm in length x 14mm thick. This is a high grade early triple signed Waltham from the 1880s in one of the most distinctive solid gold cases we have seen in excellent overall condition!
