Illinois 18S 9J key wind Hoyt pocket watch #25007, full plate gilt movement with an engraved balance bridge and matte finish, movement does have some spots of discoloration, these are cosmetic blemishes and are not affecting the running condition, porcelain enamel dial with roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds register, dial is marked "Illinois Springfield Watch Co" and does have a number of faint hairlines, blue steel spade-style hands, re-cased into a heavy white base metal (WBM) smooth polish hinge back & bezel (HB&B) case with recessed hinges, heavy bow and an extra-thick glass crystal, case is showing normal moderate wear overall with no brass but a number of small scuffs and spots of discoloration along with a crescent-shaped depression on the upper back cover from the bow pressing heavily over time into the case, crystal has a number of short, fine scratches and a small flake at 6:30, we can replace the crystal with a new beveled plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 57mm in diameter x 81mm in length x 20mm thick (crystal included). An impressive, high quality vintage Illinois from the 1870s in very good condition!
