Detailed silver & steel pistol-shaped pocket watch chain fob & winding key, this is not an articulated design and all elements are decorative & fixed in place, elaborate silver fob in the shape of an antique dueling pistol with a large grip accented with raised floral designs and extrusions on the upper and lower parts that resemble a sight, trigger, etc., long barrel area with delicate engraving fits over the steel winding key at the tip of the design, key is likely a #3 or #4 but the key opening is distorted and the corners a bit rounded out, a newer coin silver double loop ring has been fit over the body of the fob as the original loop does look to have been damaged, fob is showing normal wear overall with smoothing to the engraved designs in addition to the signs of wear detailed above, measures approx. 49mm wide (barrel to grip) x 20mm tall x 6mm thick, weighs approx. 5.6dwt. A distinctive vintage silver watch chain fob, still attractive even with the cosmetic issues, in good overall condition!
