Omega 24J automatic (self-winding) Seamaster DeVille grade 565 wrist watch with date #27537734, case 166.020 SP, attractive rose gold flashed movement with a brushed finish and bold red ruby jewels, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, raised silver markers, black minute markers and a silver lined date aperture at 3 o'clock, date display has black numbers on a white background, dial has a number of small specks of discoloration and short scratches, silver steel baton style hands with pointed tips and luminous inserts, luminous material is no longer retaining or emitting light as expected.

Heavy stainless steel (SS) round water-resistant case with a narrow sloped bezel supporting a slightly domed plastic crystal, slender angular extended lugs, an Omega marked crown, and the Seamaster seahorse emblem recessed on the back cover along with an inscription, "R.F.B to H.C.B. 7-23-71", the movement on this style of case is accessed by removing the top bezel which makes for a highly water resistant solid-piece back, case is showing light even wear with some light scuffing in areas but no notable scratches or damage, additionally it does appear that the quickset for this model is not engaging properly, the date rolls over as expected with the time but pulling the crown to the furthest position does not engage the dial wheel, measures approx. 34mm in diameter x 40mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), lightly textured padded black leather strap band with a buckle supporting a raised Omega emblem, we have not seen this style of buckle before and it may be a reproduction or more modern variation to the era of the watch.

This watch also comes with a brown Lucite & brass Omega display box with a cream satin, red velvet and brass interior along with a Weiss Jewelers (Greeley, Colorado) display. An elegant, classic Omega from the late 1960s in excellent overall condition!
