Waltham 17J adj. 4p grade 750-B wrist watch #B42059, case #N331001, attractive vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels and a brushed finish, silver-toned metal dial with printed fancy black Arabic numbers, a black outer minute register and a black-marked seconds register, dial has a number of small specks across the surface, slender blue steel baton style hands with pointed tips.
Handsome yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish rectangular case with a narrow bezel supporting a domed plastic crystal, raised detail on the back cover to help keep some of the surface off the wrist of the wearer and rounded stepped front frame details that support the hidden lugs, case is showing light even wear with a few small spots of brass starting to show on some of the rounded edges, measures approx. 19mm wide x 33mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), new lightly padded, lightly textured brown leather strap band. This watch also comes with an oval Waltham box finished with dark blue velvet on the exterior and white satin & dark blue velvet with a removable watch segment on the interior. A very attractive, high quality vintage Waltham from the 1940s in excellent+ overall condition!
