Bulova 17J adj. grade 6AE wrist watch, handsome vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel bridge movement with bold red ruby jewels, champagne-toned metal dial with a brushed finish, raised faceted crystal markers and a black-marked outer minute register, dial has a number of small specks across the surface and a little discoloration around the base of a few of the markers, gold steel whip style hands.
Heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) smooth polish rectangular case with a narrow bezel supporting a fancy faceted glass crystal, recessed top & bottom frame details, rounded bezels on the back cover and thick comma-shaped extended lugs, case is showing normal moderate wear with some lines of brass on the lugs and near the crown, additionally the corner of the crystal above 9 o'clock has been chipped, it is smooth to prevent snagging however it is a notable cosmetic flaw, we can replace the crystal with a new plastic one at no charge on request but it will not have the faceted detail, measures approx. 22mm wide x 39mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), lightly padded grey leather strap band with light grey stitching. This watch also comes with a nice generic red leatherette box with a white satin & white velvet interior. A fancy, high quality vintage Bulova from the mid-1900s in excellent overall condition!
