Classic round thin-model 18k gold case with a narrow bezel supporting the slightly domed plastic crystal, short tapered extended lugs and an inscription on the back case, "Harold G. Dickey Package Machinery Co April 18, 1964 - April 26, 1972", case is showing light normal wear with some light but notable scuffing on the frame near the crown and at 9 o'clock, measures approx. 34mm in diameter x 38mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), weighs approx. 8.1dwt (case-only), thick brown leather strap band.
The quickset for the date on this watch is slightly different than standard; instead of a mid-stem setting you gently pull the stem out past the time-set position, which will advance the date with each click. This watch also comes with a nice generic red leatherette box with a white satin & white velvet interior. An attractive, high grade vintage watch from the 1970s in excellent+ overall condition!
