Bulova Accutron grade 218D wrist watch with date, case #C27198 M7 (interior 6-8 2662), champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised silver markers, luminous 5 minute ball markers, a black-marked outer minute register and a silver-framed date aperture at 3 o'clock, date display has black numbers on a white background, dial has a few very small specks across the surface and a small bit of discoloration near 2 o'clock but is otherwise mint, it should be noted that this is a slightly cooler color of "champagne" than most dials and might better be described as a very light yellow or even a yellowish silver, silver steel wedge shaped hands with luminous inserts and a silver sweep second hand, all the luminous elements to appear to be retaining and emitting light although the dial markers are very faint.

Heavy stainless steel (SS) cushion-shaped water-resistant case with an Accutron marked crown at 4 o'clock, a tapered bezel supporting a slightly domed plastic crystal and short faceted extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear with numerous small scratches and scuffs but no notable damage, measures approx. 34mm wide x 40mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), handsome SS Accutron bracelet-style band with large center links with vertical line engraving flanked by heavy narrow segments on the edges, brushed-finish buckle clasp with a raised Accutron emblem, watch has a wearable length of approx. 182mm and could be lengthened by approx. 20mm if desired.

This watch also comes with a partial Bulova Accutron box with a brown plastic and golden velvet display area set within a gold cardboard outer box, the lid/top are missing however we are selling the watch with this as the bottom of the box has a note about the provenance as a "Sun Oil Company retirement watch". An impressive, high quality triple signed Accutron from the 1960s in excellent+ overall condition!

Prior to shipping, all battery-powered watches purchased from PM Time Service will have a new battery installed for you at no additional charge. Please anticipate an additional 1-2 day delay in processing your order for us to complete the battery update. While each watch will draw power of its battery differently, it is reasonable to expect that a fresh battery will last at least 1 year. When it is time for a new battery to be installed, you can either contact us for a quote on our current battery and return shipping charge, or most local jewelers will be able to assist you.
