Girard-Perregaux 17J Seashark grade 6XM wrist watch, case #5983, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, mint white metal dial with a matte finish, luminous light green Arabic numbers & markers outlined in black and a black outer minute mark register, skeletonized blue steel whip style hands with luminous inserts and a red steel sweep second hand with a luminous spade detail at the end, all the luminous elements appear to be retaining and emitting light as expected, elegant white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) round case with a narrow sloped bezel supporting the tall flat-top plastic crystal, classic angled tapered extended lugs and an inscription on the back "S. Carl 7-25-'49", case is showing normal even wear with a few small scratches and a small spot of discoloration on the crown from use, measures approx. 31mm in diameter x 38mm lug to lug x 9mm thick (crystal included), lightly padded textured black leather strap band. A high grade watch from a long-established Swiss company from the 1940s in excellent+ overall condition!
