E. Gluck 17J North Star wrist watch with date #1235-21, rose gold flashed split plate vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with a brushed finish, mint jet black metal dial with luminous Arabic numbers & markers, white minute markers and a date aperture at 3 o'clock bordered in silver, date display has black numbers on a white background, bold silver steel baton style hands with luminous inserts and a bright orange wedge shaped sweep second hand, all of the luminous elements are retaining and emitting light as expected.
Heavy smooth polish cushion-shaped white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) water-resistant case with classic tapered extended lugs, a large crown, a domed acrylic crystal with a magnifying square over the date display and a rotating black bezel with silver Arabic numbers and markers, case is showing normal even wear with some dulling to the black on the bezel, a bit of very light scuffing in the center of the crystal, a small bit of brass on the crown and a few light scratches & spots of discoloration on the back, measures approx. 36mm wide x 43mm lug to lug x 11mm thick (crystal included), thick, lightly textured black leather strap band. A handsome mechanical movement from the mid-1900s in excellent overall condition!
