Bulova 21J Excellency wrist watch, case #1609042 A9, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, attractive single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal dial with a black imitation double sunk (DS) line, either side of the line has a slightly different brushed finish creating a 2-tone effect, raised gold Arabic numbers and markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, dial has some light patina and small specks of discoloration, slender gold steel baton style hands with pointed tips, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) rectangular case with a rounded frame that also supports the tall flat-top plastic crystal, recessed upper & lower frame details and arc-shaped stepped extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear with a few small spots of brass starting on the bezel tops and a few small to moderate spots of brass showing on the back, measures approx. 21mm wide x 37mm lug to lug x 8mm thick (crystal included), new lightly padded textured brown leather strap band. A very high grade Bulova from the 1940s in a distinctive case in excellent overall condition!
