Kingston 17J grade A-2000 wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, champagne-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish, raised silver art-deco style Arabic numbers and markers and a black-marked outer minute register, dial has a few small spots of discoloration and a few small scuffs, silver steel wedge style hands with luminous inserts and a silver sweep second hand with a red triangular tip, the luminous material does not appear to be retaining or emitting light, round white base metal (WBM) chrome & stainless steel (SS) water-resistant case with a sloped bezel supporting a slightly domed plastic crystal, sloped faceted extended lugs and a stylized compass rose engraving on the back, case is showing normal light wear on the top however the back of the case has some moderate to heavy wear to the base metal in spots, measures approx. 32mm in diameter x 39mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included).
Impressive coin silver trapezoidal band tips have been set with geometric smooth polish top inlay of turquoise with small white inclusions and are connected together at the back of the band with a SS bracelet-style band segment and clasp, band is showing normal wear with the corner of one panel showing a small bit of damage, watch has a total wearable length of approx. 180mm and could be lengthened or shortened 10mm either way. A unique vintage mechanical movement watch from the mid-1900s with an amazing southwestern themed band in excellent overall condition!
