Waltham (Swiss) 17J wrist watch, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, pie pan style champagne-toned metal dial with tight concentric circle engraving in the center, satin finish on the outer angled edge that supports recessed faceted silver markers and luminous ball markers at 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock, dial has some light patina around the edge and some small patches of discoloration across the surface, silver steel wedge style hands with luminous inserts and a silver sweep second hand with a red triangular tip, none of the luminous elements appear to be retaining or emitting light, handsome white base metal (WBM) chrome & stainless steel (SS) round water-resistant case with a narrow sloped bezel supporting a slightly domed plastic crystal and tapered sloped extended lugs, case is showing normal even wear with some small spots of discoloration on the lugs and frame, measures approx. 33mm in diameter x 39mm lug to lug x 10mm thick (crystal included), attractive SS expansion band with wide, short segments with bar style engraving on each that comprise the entire length of the band. A classic Waltham that is running great from the late 1900s in excellent overall condition!
