Gruen 15J adj. 4p Gruen Guild ladies' wrist watch #1775292, case #2041839, case model 74/153, vintage mechanical manual-wind movement, lovely silver metal dial with vertical line engraving accented with floral designs around a round matte finish center, fancy black Arabic numbers and a black-marked minute register, dial has some patina and a few small scratches, blue steel spade & whip style hands, attractive white gold filled (WGF) long rectangular case with engraved floral & geometric designs on the top bezel, frame & back, attached wire lugs and a glass crystal, monogram "MEF" on the back in fancy text, case is showing moderate to heavy wear with some notable brass on the upper front of the case, measures approx. 17mm wide x 29mm lug to lug x 7mm thick (crystal included), Champion white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) expansion band with angled figure-8 shaped links with vertical engraving comprise the entire length of the expansion band, additionally this watch has adapters fit over the wire lugs that allow for alternate band styles to be used other than the traditional ribbon bands, these adapters can be safely removed from the lugs by a jeweler if a ribbon band is desired in the future. A high grade Gruen from the early 1900s in very good overall condition!
