Illinois 12S 17J adj. 3p The Autocrat grade 405 pocket watch #3691983, handsome nickel bridge movement with raised screw down jewel settings, a gold train & center wheel, bold red ruby jewels and a sunburst damaskeen pattern, champagne-toned metal dial with a matte finish, raised fancy gold Arabic numbers, a black-printed outer minute register, a raised gold stylized Greek key design center ring and a black-marked seconds register at 6 o'clock surrounded by a slightly raised gold ring, dial has a number of spots of patina and scuffing along with a small ring of scratching in the seconds register from where the second hand has rubbed against the dial over time, blue steel Breguet-style moon hands, re-cased into an impressive smooth polish yellow gold filled (YGF) 8-sided friction fit case with gently sloped bezels, very short shoulders that bracket the crown and support the hinged triangular bow, case is showing normal wear with some small spots of brass on a number of the case corners, measures approx. 43mm wide x 54mm in length x 12mm thick (crystal included). A very eye-catching and high quality Illinois dress watch from the 1920s in excellent overall condition!
