Hamilton 16S 21J lever set (LS) adj. 6p grade 992B pocket watch #C142809, impressive nickel split plate movement with raised gold jewel settings and a bar-style damascene pattern, double sunk (DS) porcelain enamel dial with bold boxcar style Arabic numbers, black minute markers, a black-marked subsidiary seconds register and is marked "Railway Special", dial has some faint hairlines near the center post, bold blue steel spade & whip style hands, heavy yellow gold filled (YGF) Hamilton model #11 screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish case with deeply engraved meteor designs on the bezels, stepped heavy shoulders, a short pendant supporting the recessed crown, a fancy engraved bow and a thick glass crystal, case is showing normal even wear with a little smoothing on some of the engraving, some small spots of brass starting to show on the bezel, pendant & bow, and a few flakes at the edge of the crystal where it rests in the bezel; we can replace the crystal with a new beveled plastic one at no charge on request, measures approx. 51mm in diameter x 62mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A prime example of a triple signed railroad grade Hamilton from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
