Sharp and Smith Surgical Instruments white base metal (WBM) & enamel leather strap pocket watch fob, fancy raised shield-shaped smooth polish WBM base with a slightly raised edge supports a raised skull & crossbones design in the center, skull has red enamel finishing the eyes, reverse has the following marked in raised text "Sharp and Smith Surgical Instruments Chicago, ILL", fob is showing moderate wear with some patches of discoloration on both sides however no heavy scratching or damage, measures approx. 37mm wide x 44mm in length (fob-only)/127mm in length (fob+strap) x 4mm thick, heavy black leather strap is a replacement to the fob but is vintage with a WBM buckle and two punched holes to allow for a length adjustment when the fob is worn. A great vintage watch fob from the early 1900s for the collector of fobs or vintage surgical tools in very good overall condition!
