Hamilton 10S 17J adj. 3p grade 917 pocket watch #X70044, case #1222893, classic nickel split plate movement with a bar-style damaskeen pattern, champagne-toned metal dial with a matte finish, raised gold Arabic numbers, a fancy line & dot raised center imitation double sunk (DS) line, black-printed outer minute marker register and a black-printed seconds register at 6 o'clock, dial has a number of small spots of discoloration and some light patina at the edge, fancy gold steel triangle-style hands.
Elegant yellow gold filled (YGF) Hamilton friction fit smooth polish thin-model case with stepped bezels, a coin edge frame with raised floral patterns, a short heavy pendant supporting a recessed crown and a fancy bow, case is showing normal even wear with some small spots of brass starting to show near the pendant and along the bow, additionally the bow top is slightly deformed, possibly from extended wear from a watch chain, measures approx. 44mm in diameter x 53mm in length x 10mm thick (crystal included). This watch also comes with an off-white Hamilton Lucite display box with matte gold finishing designs, an off-white satin and bright blue velvet interior with a fitted watch ring and a handwritten provenance note from a previous owner. An impressive triple signed high quality Hamilton dress watch from the 1940s in excellent overall condition!
