South Bend 16S 21J adj. 8p Studebaker pocket watch #1140001, impressive nickel 3-finger bridge movement with raised screw-down jewel settings and a bar-style damascene pattern, mint single sunk (SS) champagne-toned metal Montgomery-style dial with fancy black Arabic style numbers, red & black Arabic minute markers and a black-marked subsidiary seconds register, this handsome dial is likely a replacement to the watch, blue steel spade & whip style hands, distinctive yellow gold filled (YGF) Nawco "railroad model" screw back & bezel (SB&B) case with a smooth polish friction fit dust cover under the screw down back cover, smooth polish back cover & frame with deeply engraved designs of diamonds and bars on both bezels, heavy pendant with geometric engraving, a heavy fancy bow and thick glass crystal, case is showing normal light wear overall with no brass but a few small nicks and scratches on the outer case & crystal along with some short knife marks on the dust cover from opening attempts, measures approx. 52mm diameter x 68mm in length x 15mm thick (crystal included). A high grade, eye-catching vintage South Bend from the 1920s in excellent+ overall condition!
