Elgin 17J adj. grade 673 wrist watch, case #6528 W171295, attractive vintage mechanical manual-wind nickel split plate movement with bold red ruby jewels and a brushed finish, unusual champagne-toned metal dial with a matte finish, raised gold Arabic numbers and markers and a black marked seconds register has also been finished with thin gold lines on each side of the dial in a fan pattern that compliments the fan-shaped design of the case lugs, dial does have some patina however no heavy scratches or defects, slender gold steel baton style hands with pointed tips.

Distinctive yellow gold filled (YGF) & stainless steel (SS) square case with smooth polish concave curved side bezels supporting a high domed pyramid-themed faceted plastic crystal and slightly raised top and bottom case accents with a flared fan design supporting the hidden lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall however it does have some small spots of brass starting to show on the edges and what looks like a very small drop of white paint in one of the "fan" ridges that we have not been able to safely remove, measures approx. 29mm wide x 38mm in length x 10mm thick (crystal included), yellow gold plated (YGP) & SS expansion band with smooth polish wide rectangular segments finished on each side with short bands of engraving is showing normal even wear.

Also comes with a yellow leatherette Elgin box finished with a white and blue satin interior and blue velvet watch ring, box has a small scrape along the top but is complete and otherwise in good shape. A very eye catching and high quality vintage Elgin from the 1950s in excellent overall condition!
