Baroness 17J ladies' wrist watch, handsome nickel split plate vintage mechanical manual-wind movement with bold red ruby jewels and a brushed finish, silver-toned metal dial with a sunburst brushed finish and black Roman numerals has some very small scratches and spots of discoloration near the edges, gold steel wedge style hands, unusual heavy smooth polish rectangular yellow base metal (YBM) case with a narrow bezel with rounded corners supporting the flat-top domed acrylic crystal and hidden lugs, case is showing normal even wear overall with a spot of heavy wear on the back, a few light scuffs to the crystal and a few small lines of discoloration starting on the edges and crown, measures approx. 21mm wide x 35mm in length x 10mm thick (crystal included), unusual heavy YBM double-curb link bracelet-style band with large links with a faceted finish and a box tab style clasp, band is showing moderate wear overall with no heavy scratches but a number of spots of discoloration from wear on the links and clasp, the watch has a wearable length of approx. 190mm. An unusual and attractive vintage mechanical wind watch from the 1960s in very good overall condition!
